Born and bought up in Jaipur and after completing his schooling from St. Zavier's School, Dr. Rahul did his Graduation and Post-graduation from SMS Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur & secured a Gold Medal in M.S. (Gen. Surg.) in 1984. His surgical experience included working at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi. Subsequently after clinical fellowship from England settled down in Jaipur attached to various prestigious private Nursing homes and Hospitals. In 1994 he built his own hospital.

Distinction of setting up CO₂ laser with scanner in yr. 2000 and long pulse Nd:YAG laser in yr. 2001, the very first units in the State of Rajasthan.

Granted Fellowship of International Academy of Laser Medicine & surgery in yr. 2001.

In yr. 2001, read 3 papers related CO₂ Laser application in cutaneous lesions in the 14th World Congress of International Society of Laser Surgery & Medicine.

Over 15 yrs. of specialized experience within & outside the country at key centres, viz: SMS Hospital - Jaipur, Safdarjung Hospital - New Delhi, King Fahad Hospital - Saudi Arabia, New York Hospital U.S.A. (Visiting Fellow) - To name a Few.
